Mother’s Day Minis | How to Book
What’s up! Let me just get the following line out of the way— but, I am just a little nervous to finally be offering minis, like, for the first-time-ever. I shared on a Facebook post that I have personal reasons on why I’ve never offered them, and just to be honest these are some of the reasons why: 1) Fear of not booking enough spots 2) The mini-sessions I’ve seen in the past are always too-freaking-expensive and I don’t want to be that overpriced-photographer-for-minis! (Photographer friends, I understand the expense of running a photography business and how valuable our TIME is. I understand!) 3) Did I mention fear of not booking enough spots???? I’ve never pulled the trigger, even though year-after-year I get asked by a few people if I offer mini sessions...I just haven’t had the courage to plan them. But here we are 10 years later...
My goal is to have as much information within this blog post about the Mother’s Day minis, but as always, if you have any questions please message me! Please read below on how to book a spot!
How do I book a spot for Mother’s Day Minis?
Easy! Few simple steps!
1.To book a spot simply head over to the ‘Contact Me’ tab and tap/click on ‘Mother’s Day Minis’, then fill out the information!
2. I will be sending you an agreement along with an invoice for you to pay a retainer via Zelle.
3. Once I’ve received your payment, I will be sending you a questionnaire for you to fill out. Please take your time filling out the questionnaire and be as detailed as possible. This will ensure I give you the best experience! I hate 2-3 word responses! lol!
4. I will then send you a super-short timeline for that day with some of the information you filled out in the questionnaire!
I promise it’s short and very simple!
When and where will Mother’s Day Minis be happening?
Mother’s Day Minis will be on April 8th. There will be 10 spots available and will be first-come-first-serve! The first one starting at 2PM. These minis will be hosted at Brayberry Farms, a beautiful venue in Dover, AR. This venue is known for their beautiful greenery and trees that surrounds it. The venue also offers a beautiful pond as a backdrop and beautiful white-fences! Plus, they should have beautiful spring plants and trees blooming by April! You want to be there to see it! What is the investment for Mother’s Day Minis?
Seeing as how we are all in a recession, I want to make these as affordable as possible! I am offering these minis for $100 (tax included) and you will get 20 minutes of photography time — in return you will receive 25 digital images (or more wink-wink) of you and your children through an online gallery!
Is this for moms only?
Yes! This can be used for ‘mommy and me’, expecting moms, or for that mom that would like to update her headshots without the kids! But the only requirement is that you have to be a MOM! This makes for a perfect mother’s day gift!
Will there be a payment plan?
Yes! In order to lock-in a spot you will need to pay a $50 non-refundable retainer. Then you will make two more payments of $25 a couple weeks after the retainer has been paid! The payments will be made through Zelle.
**All payments must be paid-off two weeks prior session date**
Will you be providing any props or a client’s closet?
Let’s talk about this! My plan is to use the venue as much as possible and keep the client-traffic flowing. My goal is to have a couple-prop-setups, but 90% of our time we will use what the venue has to offer as props! Our time will be very limited and my goal is to give you the best experience and to prepare you as much as possible. I will do that by getting to know you and your needs as a client through the questionnaire I will send you! I promise you will look and feel great!
What happens if I can’t make it to the session or it gets rained out?
If you cannot make it to the session for personal reasons then I will work with you to reschedule a different date, but keep in mind that it won’t be at Brayberry Farms. In case of inclement weather I will be contacting the venue to reschedule a new date and I will announce a new date on Instagram and my Facebook page! Don’t worry, I gotcha covered!

How many children can I bring to the mini-session?
You can bring as many children as you want but keep in mind that our time will be very limited. If you have 5-10 children, BRING THEM! I’ll make sure to capture beautiful moments with you and them! Just be mindful of our time!
(I also offer full-sessions for $250+tax if you prefer to have your own session!)
Will you guide us on what to wear for that day?
I will not be telling you exactly what to wear because I want you to be YOU, but I will be sending you clothing styles and color palettes for you to guide yourself from!
What if I only want photos of me?
You most definitely have that option! The only requirement? You must be a mom or expecting-mom! No problem at all!
