Mother’s Day Minis

Hi! On April 8th I had the privilege of documenting some amazing moms at the Brayberry Farm! It’s finally spring time here in Arkansas and Brayberry Farm was blooming with beautiful flowers and trees! The weather was perfect that day!

This was my first time to offer mini-sessions and I have come to the conclusion that I may offer mini-sessions once a year...or perhaps never. Let me explain why. One of the main experiences you get when you book with me is the TIME I will invest while planning and during your session. I love to MEET people! To create an amazing photograph one needs to get to know the person and create a relationship with them. I need to know how I can show YOU through a print or digital image. Normally, on a regular session I spend anywhere from one to two hours with a client. I didn’t feel like I had the opportunity to do that with these mini-sessions (obviously! since I only had twenty minutes to document some cool people!).

Part of the experience with me is that I get to know YOU, I talk to you, your kiddos, family, and we create a friendship (or at least while you’re with me! But I’ve befriended all my clients!). I much rather capture the real YOU instead of capturing someone ‘who I think is the real you’. Plus, I hated having to choose twenty-five images when normally I give unlimited images (THIS WAS HARD FOR ME! But I chose to give you more than the twenty-five images. If I give a set number then that doesn’t represent ME).

This is why I want to give a special offer to all these families I captured on April 8th. I want to offer 20% off if you book with me a complete family session in the fall of 2023. To get the 25% off you must book your session by June 30th with a non-refundable down payment! Fall gets busy for me and if you plan on getting fall photos then I’d love to get you on my calendar ASAP!

Listen, I feel like I’m rambling. Enjoy some of my favorites from the Mother’s Day Minis and expect your gallery soon!

I want to thank James Pierce for volunteering to come and help me meet and drive the families around that day — not only that, but he also jumped in as a baby-sitter once or twice. He definitely helped me a lot! Check out his photography website!
