Quinteros | Family

A couple weeks ago I had the privilege of documenting the Quinteros family and it was a pleasure meeting them all! When Geily inquired and filled out the questionnaire I sent her, she mentioned she wanted me to capture the different seasons of life within her family. Geily wanted to honor her parents and the beautiful family they have created. Her parents sacrificed so much by bringing them to this beautiful country, and allowing me to be a-part-of was a big blessing to me!

Their session was bright-and-early on a Saturday morning. I was able to find a beautiful spot on Mt. Nebo (sunrise point) with an overlook. I wanted the family members that were visiting from California to remember the beautiful views we have and the time they had with their family members! Shortly after capturing some family shots at sunrise point I found a beautiful shaded spot nearby. That’s where we spent the rest of the time.

Geily’s family loves to tease each other! It reminded me of the Garzas’ session a couple weeks back. However, they all loved teasing on Cindy (sister with green dress!) — at some point I had to ask the whole family to look away otherwise I was not going to be able to get the shot I was wanting from Cindy! lol..

Something I loved the most about this family is the love they showed towards each other and the unity they have with each other. This is something I love about my culture as well!
